27 years old!
I celebrated my birthday yesterday in Kitzbuhel. I had not planned on being overseas, but things happen and I decided to race Hamburg World Champs Series race instead of returning home, so I am spending an extra 10 days in Kitzbuhel. It is gorgeous over here, quiet, peaceful and a great respite to just think about training and relaxing. Last night Katie Baker (USAT national team manager), Hayley Piersol (another USAT elite athlete) and myself went up to the top of the Hahnenkamm for my birthday dinner. It was very quiet up there and extremely beautiful. I got to stand in the start gate of the famous downhill ski run and I cannot believe they ski down there, it basically drops off a cliff.

Hello, Jarrod. I'm Mari from Yokohama who talked to you @ Carbo party in Marine tower when you were leaving. I hope you had a good time in my city, Yokohama. As I was a marshall(referee) on the race, I couldn't say anything, though. It's very very muggy therefore, it might be a tough race....I hope you enjoy recovering time for the next race. After I experienced to watch the International championship, I became interested in helping atheletes, therefore, I decided to take classes of Sports medicine(I'm licenced Acupuncturist in CA and plan to take Japanese exam) Maybe, I will see you someday(^0^) Please take care and good luck for Gold coast. Mari(I used another name in Google, so it said Maya but I'm Mari)
