Hi Jarrod It's Dr. Kimball - we met a few years ago about mental training. I came across an old email of yours the other day which prompted me to see how you were doing. Congrats on the Olympics. I'm sure it was a great experience. Hope all is well

Jarrod: Thanks for allowing me to join you on your run this morning and for sharing your Olympic experiences with me. Perhaps I'll see ya at one of the local races one of these days. I hope you stay healthy as you train going forward. -Kris.

Dear Jarrod, Two years ago you were a guest speaker at the British School of Boston. My son Christopher, 10 yrs of age at the time, listened intently as you answered all of the student's questions. Christopher has participated in 3 Youth Triathlons and enjoyed them immensely. He is a member of the Charles River Acquatic Sea Dragons and trains at the old BU pool. When you left our school the day of your visit, Christopher asked you to sign a card he had.. he still had the card hanging in his room. We would love to have you visit the school if you have the time. Congratulations on all of your successes and for inspriing young adults! Millie and Christopher

Jarrod: It was generious and thoughtful of you to attend the event yesterday evening at the Spellman Stamp Museum in Weston. It was wonderful to have you and the other ten Olympians were part of the events surrounding the Olympic Stamps Exhibit. I enjoyed meeting you and seeing you interact so ably with the others during the panel discussion. It was striking to have so many Olympicans present - and especially to have you as the most recent Olympian and Jo Warren (Berlin 1936) on the panel together. Sixty two years separate your respective Olympic competitions. You are a focused and articulate young man. I'll be following your career as it unfolds and wish you every success - London 2012! Bob Ruddock

Great job this past year and kudos for having a positive experience and good race in Beijing. I think 2012 is your Olympics to contend for a medal! Good luck as you continue to develop in the sport.

Congratulations Jarrod!!! We watched the opening ceremonies at Hunky Dory with all your aunts, uncles, and their families and had a ball finding you in the crowd of athletes. We were thrilled following the race and are very proud of your success! What a great experience for you and your wife. We were excited to get a Wheaties box and poster from your Dad and are having fun following your journey. Enjoy!!!!
